Our facility uses OpenTech Insomniac SmartLock electronic locks for quick, secure access to your storage unit.
Follow these simple steps:
1. Understand the 6-Button Pin Pad
The keypad has 6 large buttons - each button covers two numbers:
- Button 1: 1–2
- Button 2: 3–4
- Button 3: 5–6
- Button 4: 7–8
- Button 5: 9–0
- Button 6: * and #
2. Enter Your Code
Find the button that matches your number:
- Example: To enter 1, press the button labeled 1–2.
- To enter 9, press the button labeled 9–0.
Press once for each number in your code. Take your time; make firm, clear presses.
3. Confirm Unlock
After entering your full code:
1. You’ll hear a beep.
2. The lock mechanism will release and you can slide the lock mechanism to ‘unlock’ to open.
If you do not hear a beep, wait a few seconds and re-enter the code again.
4. You’re In!
You can now open or roll-up your unit door.
NOTE: Please remember to slide the lock mechanism fully to ‘LOCK’ when you are done. On units with roller shutters, you may need to ensure the roller shutter is pushed all the way to the ground before the lock mechanism can be fully slid to ‘LOCK’ on the Smart Locks.
