How does the process work?

Our self storage facility at 520 Shore Road is unmanned and fully automated. That means, when you book and pay for your storage unit online, you will receive a unique and personal access code to enter the facility, and access your unit. This page will explain how you use the access code and how you use the digital locks.

1. CHOOSE YOUR UNIT SIZE

The most important part of renting storage is choosing the right size of storage unit you need. It can be a bit tricky to understand what size you might need. But our storage space calculator can help you determine exactly what size of unit you might need.  

If you realise that you have chosen the wrong size - don’t panic! Call us on 028 9602 2920 and we can easily supersize or downsize your unit. 

2. BOOK YOUR STORAGE UNIT ONLINE

You can book your storage unit online immediately, without having to phone someone or wait for a call back. All you need is a credit or debit card and a valid form of ID - passport or drivers license.

After you’re booking has completed, you’ll receive an email with the booking confirmation and your personal access code. Please do not share this personal access code with anyone. It is a security risk to do so. This code will allow you access to the front door of the site and your storage unit’s digital lock.

3. USING YOUR ACCESS CODE

Your access code is a 6 digit code with a ‘*’ or ‘#’ included. You use this code to enter the facility and to unlock your storage unit. 

At the front door of the storage facility there is a yellow access panel with a 12 button pin pad (similar to a telephonic keypad). Type in the code to unlock the facility entrance. 

When you find your assigned unit, it will be locked. To unlock the digital lock use the 6 button pin pad.
